It was a lively, boisterous and fun filled atmosphere at the Abdulrasaq’s residence on the 9th of July, 2018 to celebrate her 40th birthday.
The party started with an Islamic prayer session at which Mrs Falilat Abdulrasaq was the centre of attraction, she was prayed for by members of her family, friends and well-wishers. Afterwards, the party kick-started! Gifts kept coming in from family, friends, acquaintances and well wishers! People kept trooping in and out of the Abdulrasaq’s residence while sweet music kept swaying the ambience of the compound. Mrs Falilat Abdulrasaq hit the dance floor and all I said to myself was, “You’re not forty, you’re eighteen with twenty-two years experience!!” All birthdays are special but 40th? She sure danced like the saying “life begins at Forty!”

Shooting at the birthday of Mrs Falilat was fun, memorable, amazing and worth every second. She danced so cheerfully that her beautiful smiles kept calling forth smiles from every angle. Hugs, kisses, cheers and laughter filled the air as everyone just wanted a bit of her smile and glow to themselves. Personally, all I kept anticipating was for her next smile. Staring at the pictures made me appreciate life and what it feels like to be cheered on, appreciated, celebrated and loved.

Everyone was practically in the best of moods, great music and assorted meat, casseroles, cakes, desserts, drinks and good great meals to go round while trusting Pyragraph studios to capture memorable moments with friends and family. We sure did what we do best!
