This is the new Ikeja Bus Terminal, A first of it’s kind in Nigeria and probably in West Africa. As someone who has lived in the UK for few years, I always wonder why public transport passengers cannot be dignified with befitting buses and terminals like this one. I am happy that the Lagos state government is working on dignifying Lagosians.
When the construction of this beautiful edifice started, there where different suggestions of what is being constructed, ideas like shopping complex was mostly favoured. Little did we now that this is a construction of a modern first of it’s kind in Nigeria. I drive pass this location at least 5 times a week but I have lost hope in photographing public structures in Nigeria because of the bureaucratic bottleneck of getting permits or being harassed by a security officer or area boys alike.
On this night as I drove by, I could not resist the urge to park and set up my camera to take this awesome exposure. I’m happy with the outcome of this photo, I hope to get approval to bring you close ups and other perspectives.
Lagos is working

Beautiful piece, I love it, the sky is your start point!
Thanks Sis, one of my number one fans
This is a nice output definitely from a pro like you, we hope and pray we can send you back there in three years time and you can still get this same amazing output if they put in a good maintenance culture going forward. You have done your part to showcase their work. Weldone paragraboss.
Thanks Engineer Azeez, I also hope we imbibe a maintenance culture in Nigeria
Bless you.
The Lord shall continue to bless the works of tour hand and grant you unusual insight in your field.
I can hardly belive this is in Nigeria.
Pictures like this should be greatly encouraged so as to project the new image of Nigeria.
Very well done and keep it up.
Than you Pastor Soloman, your encouragement is one of the reasons I’ve come this far, thank you.
