My team and I had a good time photographing this couple from their pre-wedding to the traditional and finally white wedding, one thing I liked is the fact that they enjoyed their ceremony because you are meant to have it only once. They gave us all time and attention.
As a photographer, my style is to find the natural connection between couples and capture the moment. I try to make couples comfortable with me to the point that they can ignore my presence while I do my thing. It was very easy for me to blend with Goke because we have blended since we were kids (Famzing) and I’ve met Yemi almost a year ago and Goke has introduced us. We also had lunch together during their consultation where I listened to their interesting love story stated below:
Their Story
19/04/2010 I had to start french classes at alliance français,Yaba, Lagos (I just had to, as admission no gree come😏) 20/04/2010 you came into the class with that Ibadan smile of urs( dat didn’t even trip 😏me). Monsieur Francis taught us how to introduce yourself in French and how to introduce others and say a little about them, you were seated next to me, had to give you my information so that u can introduce me ( you did a terrible😣 job) I introduced you quite well right after I introduced myself, all that introduction and I still did not remember your name after that day. 22/04/2010 we got talking a lot, and I asked for your name again and you said ” what did you do when u got here in the morning?” I said “climb up” and you were like ” there u go, say that in Yoruba” (Goke), that was a very funny way to tell me your name, I liked you from that moment, during break, u asked if I wanted to go check out the library and I agreed, you opened every door for me and would say “after you, please” (oh how that turned my knees to jelly), wow! I felt like a lady, dat was it, that was the moment I wanted you to be the man I’ll call my husband.
However, you took Ur time, you didn’t say anything about feelings until May (😞a long time for me!), Anyway, I didn’t say yes,I put you on condition..lol. long story short, I said Yes! 23/05/2010…it was short lived😖😞( my father found out about us, he wasn’t really happy…) Fast forward to 01/02/2016 you came back again ” I want to be responsible for you…( I’m saving the rest for our children)…” I said “hmm, ok”. 19/03/16…you got down on one knee ( location: Yola, Adamawa State.) and popped the question…I said Yes!!!. Eriifeoluwasimi, thank you for making me happy, I asked God for a miracle and I got you! Oreofeoluwasimi. I love u now and forever! 10/02/2018…#AdeOla18
I will not like to bore you with all the details but I believe their photos below can tell the story better than myself.
