Lagos Street Photography is something I would like to constantly do because the street of Lagos is bustling and constantly moving with hustlers here and there. The Insecurity and area boys challenge is something that really put me off the street of Lagos.
As I drove into the street of Pyragraph studio off Allen Avenue, I could not but notice this glammed up welder on a Monday morning, from his sun shade, to his necklace and boot below. The contrast between his top and bottom cannot be over emphasised.
I quickly whisk to the studio to get my camera and light to preserve this moment. Getting back to the studio, my proteges had told me how they noticed him but could not complement him or request for his photo to be taken.
The moral of the story: If you see that shot, take it!
His name is Orisco, A welder on Ogundana Street, Ikeja, Lagos.
